I use horses to help you learn how to quiet your mind, manage anxiety, and come into present quickly. Quiet Your Mind Sessions are horse-assisted mindfulness practices designed to help you help develop better ways to manage anxiety and feel less overwhelmed. You will: 

      • Learn to calm your nervous system through breath;
      • Learn to quiet your mind through meditation and mindful practices;
      • Learn to come back into your body and focus your attention;
      • And be more present right now.

How do horses help me develop all this? 

 Becoming Present in the Midst of Horses

As humans, we’re often stuck in our heads. We constantly analyze the past and play out the stories of future scenarios.  The stories we create when we’re stuck in these loops lead to anxiety, racing thoughts, and make us feel pretty crappy about ourselves. 

The way to quiet fear-based thoughts is get out of your head and work on ways to stay present in the RIGHT NOW. In the end, working on your goals through non-verbal communication with horses requires presence. Once you’ve achieved it, it naturally translates into all other areas of your life. In the end, you will:

  • Have a greater senses of self awareness;
  • A better capacity to manage stress and anxiety;
  • A quieter mind;
  • Feel more calm and centered.

In this three hour session, we go through a series exercises that are designed to quiet your mind and help silence the thoughts running through your mind. The way we approach this is through a series activities, assisted of course by our amazingly intuitive horses.  This can include:

  • Round Pen Connection with Horses
  • Yoga on Horseback
  • Breathwork on Horseback
  • Mindful Meditation
  • Practicing Presence
  • Outdoor Sensory Experiences
  • Creative Journaling
  • Horseshoe Dreamcatcher Creation

You will also go home with materials to continue your experience throughout the week. 

You can buy single person experiences in 1 session or 4 sessions.

If you'd like to bring someone else, please select the two-person experience. Group experiences are 3-6 people and will include an extra facilitator. 

We have a clean, climate controlled working space in addition to the outdoors areas. Coffee, tea, healthy snacks, and kombucha are always available and included in your experience! If you want me to coordinate lunch, simply ask!
