During my journey to becoming, I gave myself permission to explore different interests. Part of that journey included food production, agriculture, and handmade crafting.

In 2020, I worked a private farm with Terry Trim, a fourth generation farmer and butcher who'd helped Costco develop their artisan cheese offerings, as well as helped Whole Foods design their butcher department once they'd opened in Washington.

During my time on the farm, I learned a lot about the history of the Snoqualmie Valley. The Trim family milled and culivated the land their farm was before Carnation or Duvall incorporated into small towns. Terry saved all the wood that was cut from the trees they cleared. From them, he started making unique cutting boards. I asked him to make a series for me, to serve as grounding boards for those of cultivating home practices.

Grounding boards can used in your home practice to simply connect you nature, can be used on or  serve as alters, or you can even use them for food (just make sure to cover them as they are not sealed).

This board is made of out 92 year old, abused Redwood with a tiger stripe patter. It measure 7.5x9x2 inches thick. It's one of a kind.
